Rosa Garcia joined Public Health Institute Center for Wellness and Nutrition (CWN) in 2015 as a health educator. In this role, Rosa assists with and supports various projects that address worksite wellness as well as other health-related initiatives. Rosa has over 14 years of customer service and data confidentiality responsibilities. Rosa is fluent in Spanish and is proficient in workplace efficiency and formulating protocols to best fit diverse populations.

Prior to this, Rosa was part of Survey Research Group as a bilingual survey interviewer where she performed interviews in Spanish and English on a variety of health related topics. Previously, Rosa worked providing extensive administrative support and experience in the medical field.

Rosa received an Associate of Arts degree, focusing on arts and humanities, from Linn Benton Community College in Albany, Oregon. Rosa relocated to Sacramento, California, area from Portland, Oregon, with her daughter, Josephine, to be closer to family. In her free time, Rosa pursues various artistic outlets and crafting projects, and has volunteered for the Born Again Pit-Bull Rescue in Portland, Oregon, as well as VOZ Worker’s Rights Organization.
