Maran Kammer-Perez joined the Center for Wellness and Nutrition in October 2016 as a part-time Program Administrator to provide fiscal oversight in the grants and contracts department, splitting her time with California Project LEAN (Leaders Encouraging Activity and Nutrition) (CPL) where she continues to serve as the Program Administrator and Communications Specialist.
Maran first joined the Public Health Institute in 1996. She has over 30 years’ experience in office administration specializing in both non-profit and state budgeting and accounting. For the Center she will coordinate budgets, amendments, account reconciliation, reports, and have general fiscal oversight. For CPL Maran has lead oversight over administrative and fiscal components, and office operations including purchasing, acquisition of equipment, and development of office procedures. She also serves as California Project LEAN’s primary staff artist, designing all promotional materials, overseeing printing, and media project budgets. She also serves as Project LEAN’s website and e-newsletter content manager.
Maran owns and operates her own design studio specializing in print media with a penchant for metal art and mixed media. She resides in the greater-Sacramento area with her husband of nineteen years.
