Maran Kammer-Perez joined the Center for Wellness and Nutrition (CWN) in October 2016 to provide fiscal oversight in the grants and contracts department as the resident Program Administrator II. She splits her time with another Public Health Institute program, California Project LEAN (Leaders Encouraging Activity and Nutrition) (CPL), where she works as the Communications Specialist.
Maran first joined the Public Health Institute in 1996. She has over 30 years’ experience in office administration and graphic design, specializing in both non-profit and state budgeting, and accounting and design for print media. For CWN, she coordinates budgets and amendments, accounts payable and reconciliation, and has general fiscal oversight. For CPL, Maran has lead oversight over web site content, eNews publishing, materials design, and printing.
Maran owns and operates her own design studio specializing in print media with a penchant for metal art and mixed media. She is an avid longtime aquarist and amateur astronomer, now learning astrophotography. Maran lives in the greater-Sacramento area with her husband of twenty years.
