Maran Kammer-Perez joined the Center for Wellness and Nutrition in October 2016 as the resident Program Administrator II. She has fiscal oversight in developing budgets and amendments, coordinating payroll, and accounts payable and reconciliation.

Maran first joined the Public Health Institute in 1996, serving her first twenty years with California Project LEAN. She has over 30 years’ experience in office administration and graphic design, specializing in both non-profit and state budgeting, and accounting and design for print media.

Maran owns and operates her own design studio specializing in print media with a penchant for metal art and mixed media. She is an avid longtime aquarist and amateur astronomer, now learning astrophotography. Maran lives in the greater-Sacramento area with her husband of twenty-two years.
