Susan Vitulli first joined the Public Health Institute (PHI) in 2003 and currently serves as Communication Specialist II. She has over 14 years of experience in nonprofit and public health programming, including nearly 10 years of experience with PHI, in diverse roles ranging from accounting, program coordination and administration, to marketing and communications.
As Marketing Specialist IV, she oversaw execution of the statewide Power Play! Campaign, and conducted trainings and capacity building workshops as part of the Children & Youth team, including Harvest of the Month and Youth Engagement. She also stepped in as Program Coordinator on the Training and Resource Center contract for the San Francisco Bay Area region with the Nutrition Education and Obesity Prevention Branch at California Department of Public Health.
She studied Health Communication and received her Master’s from Emerson College, in collaboration with Tufts University School of Medicine, and studied Intercultural Communication for a Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Sacramento.
