Kaley Carman is a Research Scientist I with the Center for Wellness and Nutrition (CWN), a program of the Public Health Institute (PHI). She provides evaluation support to several wellness and nutrition projects for CWN. Prior to her role at PHI, Kaley worked as a research coordinator for the University of Florida, education and training specialist for Florida’s SNAP-Education program, and public school district dietitian in Flagler County, Florida. Kaley brings a strong background in dietetics, Implementation Science, study design, and evaluation.
Kaley is a triple Gator – she completed her PhD in Nutritional Sciences, Master of Science and Dietetic Internship, and Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Florida. Kaley has been a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist since 2016 and is passionate about empowering individuals and communities of all backgrounds to adopt healthier eating and physical activity habits.
