Sai Khang joined PHI CWN in August 2020 as a Health Educator. Prior to CWN, Sai was a referral specialist. As a referral specialist, she communicated with patients and doctors’ offices to ensure that all documentation needed is present and authorized.
Sai has a BS in Family and Consumer Science concentrating in Food and Nutrition from California State University (CSU), Sacramento. One of the passions she has is providing knowledge/information to underserved communities so that the community knows what programs are available to them or know what steps to take to be able to access healthier foods.
Some of the volunteer work Sai participated in was the BAC Yard at CSU Sacramento, Blood Drive, University of California, Davis Labor and Delivery unit, HEAD Start, and Pop Up Pantry.
