Koi Mitchell joined the Center for Wellness and Nutrition in March 2023 as a Research Associate. Upon joining the team she served as a research and evaluation specialist in a plethora of subject areas such as education, childhood development, health disparities, and more. She supports the research and evaluation team with all aspects related to local-level nutrition interventions. Her work includes, but is not limited to evaluation planning, data analysis, reporting, and more.
Koi has several years of research and evaluation experience in academia, consulting, and non-profit sectors. She earned her Master of Arts in Program Evaluation from Michigan State University in 2022. She served as a Project Manager at Michigan State University for a childhood obesity and nutrition research study in 2019-2021, during that time she found a passion for wellness and nutrition. In her free time, Koi enjoys fitness, reading, and spending time with her dog KoKo!
