Yvette García, MPA, is a Program Administrator and Assistant Manager of Administrative and Fiscal Services at the Public Health Institute’s Center for Wellness and Nutrition (PHI CWN), where she provides fiscal and administrative support to projects funded by the California Department of Social Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She brings a wealth of experience from her previous administrative roles at a Rural Indian Health Clinic and a Davita renal care clinic. Yvette also has extensive experience working in the education and nonprofit sectors.

Yvette grew up in Northern California’s Chico area. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and a Master of Public Administration with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration, both from California State University, Chico. Yvette currently resides in Roseville, California where she enjoys experimenting with new recipes, taking on do-it-yourself projects and hanging out with her Great Pyrenees.
