Koi Mitchell, MA, is a Research Associate at the Public Health Institute’s Center for Wellness and Nutrition (PHI CWN). In her role, Koi supports the research and evaluation team with all aspects related to local-level nutrition interventions. Her work includes evaluation planning, data analysis, reporting, and more, encompassing a broad range of subject areas such as education, childhood development, and health disparities.

Koi brings several years of research and evaluation experience across academia, consulting, and nonprofit sectors. She earned her Master of Arts in Program Evaluation from Michigan State University in 2022. While serving as a Project Manager at Michigan State University for a childhood obesity and nutrition research study from 2019 to 2021, Koi discovered her passion for wellness and nutrition.

In her free time, Koi enjoys fitness, reading, and spending time with her dog, KoKo.
